2022….HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST YEAR FOR DRIVERS…..
When I demo'd the 425 irons last year I thought they looked awfully long from heel to toe. I would hope that the 430 irons would be a few millimeters shorter. I'll bet the new i230 irons are going to be a big hit with single digit players and with mid handicappers who don't need distance.
This may not be a great year for golf in general. With inflation so high, it maybe the average golfer may not have the disposable cash to buy new clubs. They may find that there exisiting clubs will have to do for another year or two. Sorry. Don't mean to be negative.
If you didn't like the sound of the Ping 425 driver you really won't like the sound of the Tour Edge. They are so loud that it made my ears ring.

My biggest issue with the re-release of the Great Big Bertha driver is the price tag. It's getting ridiculous.

Bertha gear is going to floor you! Nice stuff but not all of us will have a bank account to support the prices on all this new stuff which seems to go up every year and wages certainly don’t. No matter how promising the new year is I will have to stick with the equipment I am using which serves me well
The Big Bertha irons are suppose to retail for $449.00 PER iron. Not going to be an affordable line for the majority of the previous Big Bertha iron players.
