Watched the whole thing from start to finish. Phil was rolling back the years but a missed short putt undid him. The team format has been absolutely amazing! Loved it loved it loved it! Now let’s see if the big guns live up to their billing. Incredible to see the Europeans really get it going too. It’s as if someone studied what holes existed in current golf formats and then brought them to liv. Individual player of the day for me Varner. Best team performance majestics.

Watching Cam and Phil two multi major champions battle it out today was legendary, incredible first round. Also the trash talking before the round was fun to see both men wanted to win today. Liv provided a stage rarely seen on pga tour, with a veteran and a younger champion playing toe to toe for a full 18.
Cam confirmed in the press conference it was “painful” that Phil was taking forever to hit shots and pointed out they were 3 or 4 holes behind at one point.

This is the best turfgrass all over (tee's fairway's, rough, collars, greeens) i've ever seen and i watch a lot of golf and used to work at Oakmont in the summers on the groundcrew double cutting them and rolling them every day. and doral is an absolute legend. dummies at pga took that tourney away
