I played golf with my first ever set of golf irons from 22 years ago and the results shocked me. A video full of memories, fun and entertainment.

First set was a set of '67 Wilson Staff's my dad gave me. Miss those forged blades
my first set…..McGregor Muirfield 20th's……
My first set was a set of Tony Penna, full blades probably bought them around 1985, OMG they were hard to hit, think I would still struggle now.
My first set of name brand irons was Callaway X20 along with a Diablo driver, 3 wood, and hybrid. I still have them tucked away in the garage.
Did you at least re-grip them? lol
Wilson 1200 Widetips
My first set of irons was Spalding Top Flite (well it was 1969!!!). I always buy 2nd hand clubs, so someone else faces the depreciation! I'm currently gaming Mizuno JPX900 Forged, that I bought in the spring when my wife nicked my set of Callaway Rogue X's. One of the perils of having a wife that plays the game!!!!

used titelist 90 or something that were well used. first bought were callaway diablo i believe. big , chunky then went to diablo tour or pro the little smaller . both were pretty nice . then moved to mizuno 825 pro. I've collected a bunch a few sets that i just dont sell lol. I play mp20 now and love them. I all the others for my walking bag sets.
Coach you seem to be hitting the ball so well lately. Is it down to the lesson you had with Ryan? I’m thinking of signing up with him
Greetings from Utah! I have been following you and Mark for a few years now. Love the progress, and how much fun you two have, and of course Raymondo. Can't wait to see more! Thank you good sir!
Yep for the 18 hopes.
My first proper iron set was a Ping G2. I didn't like them that much but today I know that it was me, not the clubs 🤣
I had a set of Callaway X-12 in the old days. Really didn't need to ever replace them. Offset was a lot, but they played well. mainly draws
Those clubs probably had the old square grooves that aren’t legal any more. They should be super spinny
Recently bought a set of used Callaway XR irons. I owned a set about a decade ago. In the last two weeks I've shot some of my lowest scores of recent years. They have earned a place in my bag for the foreseeable future.
Firat set Slazenger Johnny Miller J63M
Tommy Armour 845 Silver Scot's w/ Titleist PT driver & 3W(15*)
You and Mark should both play your first irons, drivers, putters. Plus, will you regrip them?
Mine were Brunner 2s no real memories had steel shafts and after 5 years moved to Steelhead XRs in graphite. Well done for deciding to keep them. Now everything I buy is secondhand and yes I always replace the grips so a little added expense 😂

My first clubs were a half set of regency irons I then went for callaway x12’s and absolutely loved them for years. I also had an eeezzz 1 iron that I couldn’t hit and sold it to my mate for £8 after he hit a worldy with it ( the only I’ve he ever hit with it!)
My favourite Callaways ever…. Loved my set!
Yep want to see that
Wilson augusta were my first set of golf clubs they were awesome iam like you always trying to find them on ebay no success yet lol
Mizuno mx15
They were a great little set of irons.
