Tip 2 was brilliant – love the use of the peg and the half tennis ball. Hinge, press, release – very helpful
Brilliant. Thanks Matt
Brilliant. Thanks Matt
Great video very informative
What a top video, straight to it with great advice and great little cheap tricks that peg idea 💡 is a belter . Simply great ,can that peg work with driver would love to see that 🤔
I have a question I never take a divit I graze the grass or I hit it high off the face what am I doing wrong
I never take a divot in front of the ball when I strike it. Any ideas?
That clothespin tip is the BEST tip I've seen for irons yet Matt! Thank you!
The way you explain things and give us visuals we can use is brilliant Matt , love these videos you do to help us .
Great video Matt. Tip 2 is a great drill with peg and tennis ball, thank you 👏🏻
I've just hit 200 balls at the range but now I know I'm missing a peg and half a tennis ball. I'll give it ago Friday 👍
I sometimes have the tendency to put the ball to far forward in my stance with irons
Simple things make a big difference 🏌🙂👍Well done matt 👏
Matt tip #1 is my biggest problem with my irons. I've always gripped my irons on the ground so that the leading edge is on the line I want. It's helped some what but like #3 it goes short right. I will try that aiming top left and adding a club. Thanks Matt
Excellent video, I really enjoyed tip two.
Love the hinge and press. Struggling so much with early unhinging it’s costing me 20-30 yards. Definitely an easy exercise to practice. Thank you.
Over the weekend I played 9 with my friend, I was messing about on the 7th after missing most of my tee shots with a hard slice so I basically loosened my grip pressure to like 10% of what it is normally. Ended up crushing it about 270-280. Down hill a bit so let’s say it would be 250-260 on a flat hole. That’s ridiculous for me where my ball is normally in the woods after about 100 yards.
Past few days I’ve been doing it chipping and putting and it seems to work for me but it’s a real weird feeling in my hands. Almost like the club will just fly off but it hasn’t yet.
How much grip pressure do I really need to have? What’s ideal? Because right now doing what I’m doing, you could take the club out of my hands with little to no effort at address. Much different from the death grip I normally have, but I’m worried that club is going to space if I really send it.
Love these tips videos Matt.
