  1. I would love just once, from any of these YT golfers, tell us about the shafts and grips, not just the heads of the clubs. Its ok saying they play nice, but there is far more to the irons than the heads, plus, these go all over the world and looking at the price of PXG, i would have to sell my car to afford a set.

  2. Buying PXG at the hero price makes them a great value in the USA.
Does PXG offer anything in the UK for a veteran program? They should as the UK (primarily through WW2 and the future leadership alliance of Thatcher with Reagan is worthy of a discount to the UK and other countries which fought next to the USA vets).

  3. The prices you mentioned regarding Takomo are too high. $550 not £550 .
    I gat a set delivered below £400

  4. So what kind of shafts are on the clubs used in this video???? Yes, im looking for new clubs to replace mizuno mx-200 y-tune that I've used for years. I am also cost conscious.

  5. I game the 0211 s. Not the score the first iteration of them. I love them no reason to change. If I do score is where I’ll look. I love pxg plus live in Scottsdale right by the headquarters so it’s all good. Great video lots of good info.

  6. I got the heads from the Takomo 101s– swapped them out for some other DTC irons with TT Elevate 95 shafts. I plan to use as a travel set. They seem perfectly fine. I don't know if the UK get the um, interesting TXG commercials, which were a turnoff to me (along with the extreme loft jacking and extra length of shaft to justify its distance)

  7. I own the 101's since release. I got them with my prefered shaft and they are, without question, the most consistent irons I have owned. They are as good as the TM clubs they are styled after & the price is just the icing on the cake. The irony in your review is I have a PXG 0211 driver, so it is a great mix.

PS – My 101's are two seasons old now & the finish is still like new so I can attest they are durable too.

  8. sub70 direct to consumer brand now has a custom fit uk site so they can fit you in person and you still get the direct to consumer price. Wonder what your thoughts on sub70 are if you have tried them, I'm sure you have obviously.

  9. I purchased the 0211, the newest look. For me as I get closer to 60 the stronger loft of the PXG irons allows me to get more out of my irons throughout the bag. I am back to hitting a 9 iron 145 I was using a 7 iron for the same distance with my old Steelheads. They have put enough weight at the bottom to add height to your shot. Feel like I am back in control of my mid iron distances.
I have not played the Tokomo, but I can tell you I would purchase these PXG irons again.

  10. PXG is overpriced crap If it was worth the money all the pros would be using it. They aren’t yet is more expensive. Overpriced crap

  11. Just got a set of 101s, really like them so far. Takomo currently has 14 shaft options fir 101 and custom fittings for lenght, lie and grips, so I dont se much the average golfer cannot get with that. Also they have wedges and are bringing out wood soon, so if its a preference you can soon build a full bag.

  12. Purchased Takoma 101’s today. I’ll update you soon. Thank you for the honest assessment of both sets of irons.

  13. I'll definitely be putting the Takomo 101's in my bag before end of the year.
The Takomos are highly customizable. A dozen shaft options, here in the US, plus you can select lie, length and grip size. Plus I love the clean look of them.

  14. I was basically debating between PXG XCOR2 and continuing use of my Wilson C100s. I went with the PXG irons, as I also took advantage of 0311 Drivers sale, and $50 fitting cost for all. The PXGs are basically a club up from the Wilsons (if I said that right). The XCOR2 4 iron matches the loft of my C100 3 iron. I feel like the PXG loft dispersion will give me wider flexibility among other advantages. I'm really hoping I see improvement / a better fit to my game. I'm also going from a Ping G10 driver to the 0311 XF. I'll let you know how it all goes.
I will add that the fitting experience was great.

  15. we just ordered my wife a set of PXG XCOR2 irons. She hit them great and said she couldn't tell much of a difference over my Gen5xp clubs. I can't want to try one out… See how they compare to the much more expansive clubs. Shes only 5'3 so she had to have custom fitted clubs for her over the stock wilson set she has… She needed a stiffer shaft as her swing speed keeps going up.

  16. Just received my XCORE2’s in black a few days ago. I also have the original 0211’s. They both feel really good. My XCORE2’s have the senior shaft. Works perfect for me

  17. Thank you for this comparison video. Helped me choose my new irons -PXG 0311p. Love your channel.

  18. The thing about PXG for me it is USA made, a bit more importantly you order them you get them when they say they get them!
I do I do love the look of numerous

  19. I play the Takomo 101s and they are sweet. Distance and dispersion are not a problem with these irons. And the shaft choices are enough. If you want a specific or special shaft you can opt for the heads only choice.

  20. The 101's are on my shopping list, but…I'm an older golfer, wanting to get back in the game after retiring. I use to be a decent golfer but will be looking for a new set of clubs after being idle for almost 10 years. So my thought, I probably want to have some advice and possibly see a person that can identify and custom a set of clubs that will fit my body, strength, swing pattern, etc, Everything I've read about the 101's I'm impressed with.
