idea on the hose could you maybe take off the hose and buy a piece of hose to the length you need. that would work great with the idea of the foot pump.
Hey AJ–per your endorsement I switched my set over to Pure grips, specifically the wrap model. I put them on with compressed air, but I also used some blue painters tape to build them up a little bit. After a few rounds they have started to slip–is this because of the blue tape? Would normal masking tape be better?
I wonder if canned gas "duster" as used for blowing out dust from PCs would work for this technique. There's not a whole lot of static pressure but it doesn't seem to require a whole lot, seems like it's almost acting like air bearings rather than inflating. Might be worth a try if you're looking for more things to experiment with.
Would it be possible to remove a grip which was fitted with double sided tape by putting some solvent inside the shaft before pumping the air in ? Great video again, thank you.
I did not have any clamps, so I ask my cat ( The Moose ) to hold the bike pump, he said of course. Just got back from the hardware store to try for the second time. Good video, my only tip is to keep any cats out of the process.
AJ…if you aren't activating the glue on the tape with solvent won't the grip shift or move during play or when the grips rub together in the bag? Maybe I am old school but I don't think I would be comfortable hitting a club with blown on grips.
Great info, will be trying this as soon as I find the correct air pump, any issue removing a grip that was installed the conventional way with solvent and sticky tape with the air method?
I've got an air compressor that I got from Walmart which only works from a 12-volt automotive source. It would be interesting to try it but I'd have to do it from the back of my SUV! It came with some fittings but I don't know if they would work. Something to consider. 😊
I am actually surprised this worked at all – that is a pretty heavy duty bike pump though. I guess if my compressor died, I had a bike pump and I really needed to install a golf grip, I might go through this hassle. Naa…I'll stick with the compressor method…which I love BTW. Interesting though.

Personally I've never used tape. I'm not an expert so what is the benefit to using tape?

Sweet!! I have a foot operated pump and will try to get it to work for installing grips. Thanks for the idea!!

Love your posts. Is there any advantage to using grip tape and solvent over compressed air? I was just curious. Thanks.
When I blow on grips, my dogs will literally run to "help" me as they really love the sqeaky noise it makes!
I have a ball pump that looks like a drill. You just saved me a ton of work!! Thanks.
Dopey question I guess but when replacing standard size grips with mid size, do you need anything extra I.e. is the internal diameter the same

Where to buy the small adaptor you attached to the footpump

Nice piece of lateral thinking AJ
How about a air mattress pump?
AJ , not understanding how the air flowing in the same direction from the pump puts the grip on and takes it off as well.
Thanks bro great idea.I will be trying the foot pump for sure!
I've search for that compressor and I can not find it
AJ in my country stands for "arjarn". It means "master".
Yes you are literally arjarn.
This is so awesome!

What width masking tape do you use? I usually see 2" wide but I thought you mentioned 1.5" in a previous video.
-where did you get the attachment that fits onto the bike pump ?
AJ….. You’re a genius! I need to get one of these pumps! Thanks mate….. 👍
Great video!
Will this method work with golf pride MCC plus 4? Thanks!
Get a hose a couple feet longer?
