At 02:36 aesthetics look impressive. At 08:43 there's a perfect image of of Laura's downswing in an almost perfect image of what all coaches ask for with the club horizontal before impact. I wish I had a frame by frame option on YouTube because at 08:43 the perfect downswing went wrong just before impact – it looks like Laura closed the club face too quickly. It's impressive that Laura can get into such good positions. There may be only a few tweaks needed to get Laura to transition to a confident, capable, and competent golfer.
Great to see this. Seriously disagree with 'all the gear and no idea". This level of work with the putter puts Laura in a great place. Lot's of beginners learn to hit the ball first then go to the green and make 4 or 5 puts. Laura appears to have taken on board the most difficult part of golf – on and around the green.
James my wife's the same when someone comes up behind she gets nervous and quick.
Friend of mine has just started playing and I’ve been looking at a set like this for her. She’s a tremendous athlete, and probably doesn’t need a ladies flex, so might replace the shafts with a regular flex. The question is, do we go half set or third set to start?

Ahhhh, the feel of new clubs and fresh grips. Be patient Laura. Golf is a tough game for anyone starting out. Do your best to hit the centre of the club, and you'll be thrilled to see your distances improve. Further shots means fewer shots, so your scores will improve. James is being very supportive and positive and needs to continue that. Unfortunately too many men make negative comments and their wives or girlfriends quickly get turned off the sport and give up. The best piece of advice anyone can give you is one you already seem to know. Just. Have. Fun. Cheers from Canada.
