  1. Thanks for this. I almost switched off half way through, because I am already fine with "step 1". But I'm glad I didn't because your thoughts on "step 2" and how to put everything together, very helpful.

  2. Struggling to get the hinge play everything just under a 3/4 swing length….how to get hinge correct sn hands higher? Will give the info innygr video a go

  3. jPX919 tour… I just died. Those irons are Lamborghini's in real life.

  4. Hi
I want to change some of my irons 😂 i have callaway x hot 4-pw. Love my 4-7 irons. They are great and goes a good distance. But my pw-8 irons are harder. They jump so much and goes very high.
I also have a sm8 47 degree wedge to fit inbetween my 52 wedge and my x hot pw. I love the sm8 47 wedge. It is acctally easier for me to use that then ky x hot pw. Mostly because it's easier to change the flight higher or lower and so on.
So my question is, I am looking for a half set to change to a more of a players iron at the lower end of the bag. You have any suggestions there? Been looking at the callaway apex 19 combo set but I am not sure I want to change my top end of the irons since they work great and I probably need the help up there.

  5. Thanks for the instruction. I went on about a five year journey looking for the irons that would be "just right". I ended up with a really easy to hit recent set of irons before realizing if I can't hit these I can't hit anything only to discover I couldn't hit anything. However I always had a fresh comparison on equipment. Sad I know. So your video came along I have been working very hard on more rotation and better contact. I like your start small and expand technique because it works. Thanks again.

  6. More, more, more please, you've made more sense to me there than any other tip video I've seen. The different cameras and slow mo have made me realise what's happening when it goes wrong, as well as giving a great visual as to what a swing should look like 👍

  7. Thank you for this video! It’s not something I associate you with, but it was a great video! More please!

  8. WHY do i hit the irons ok on the P/Fairway but out on the course i might hit 20% ok, the rest vary a LOT! in all fairness i will follow these drills and improve.

  9. This was easily the best coaching video I have seen in a very long time. You explained it so simple and straightforward, amazing. This style has been my favorite way to look at the swing, one step at a time to create a masterpiece.

  10. Spent the last few months testing irons to replace my 2003 Nike Forged blades…I struck everything the same, and distances were slightly longer with newer stronger lofted clubs, but no enough to give up the feel I have with my blades.

In the end…I reshafted and love it! (Still cost $900…lol)

  11. This is a PERFECT example of technique vs technology. I swing a nearly 40 year old set of Ping Irons and the yardages are about 20 yards shorter than modern clubs through the bag. Granted, I am not the best at ball striking, but this video is a GREAT example of getting technique down first before buying expensive new equipment. Money is better spent on lessons. Cheers.

  12. Thanks Simon. I shared this with a mate who has been practicing his short game more in order to improve his long irons. He has the common back foot issues and maybe can help him through the process he is trying.
