In this series we have two players go head to head in a points based matchplay. We set the entire course to a par 54 for the players to attack, (every hole is a par 3). Points are earned from getting a birdie or par. If you get a bogey you receive zero points. If you get two bogeys in a row your score will reset back to zero.

I love the coverage and these amazing players together. If I were to insert just one caveat. Having a 3rd party (much like Luke H. to come in and add color commentary + explain what is happening as it is unfolding would be great) The best part about having someone else not involved in the actual playing is them being able to bounce quips and little gnarls off of people. While I appreciate the laid back GP , I like an outside party to lighten the overall mood. I mean these guys aren't actors, they are pros. anyway. Thanks for the good time and I loved the coverage. toots and bang chains anyone who read this

These are fun to watch, but I don't understand the point of making every hole a par 3. All that really does is guarantee score resets at some points on the course. It would be way better if there was just a point system like
Eagle +10
Birdie +2
Par +0
Bogey or worse -5
That still incentivizes players to go for eagles on the par 5's and is a heavy penalty for bogies, but it doesn't have the weird variance where you have to eagle the par 5's, and it gives shorter throwers a chance.

Nothing makes me feel better than seeing the best in the world snag one way off his target. So every time i do it I just say "well Wysocki does it" lol
Get ready for some spit ups (straight back at the player) and spit throughs with these veteran baskets. That bottom ring for the outer chains is way too big for outer chains. You can have big rings like that for inner chains that hang straight down but it's really bad for outer chains. Just allows too much movement. People always blame the wind for it at ddo. Wind doesn't help but it's really that bottom ring and I'm pretty sure the chains are stainless. That's a big no no also. Too slick. Too many spit throughs vs galvanized.

Ricky took a 4 on 8 and 9 but his score didn’t reset. James and Ricky should both be at 0 on hole ten.
Godddamn its annoying to hear Ricky spit all over all the time. Trying to eat my food and watch this was difficult when he has to spit every second. Disgusting.
The wind has been dead in Kansas since mid-summer. I'm excited to see the kind of shots we'll get at Worlds this year. Today is the most I've seen in a month and I'm still throwing Pure's 150 ft dead straight.
The only thing sexier than a Johne McCray turbo putt is the Conrad drive grunt 🙂
