Played today on mi tod. At the limes. Played ok. I take a squirty bottle of water to clean club face and ball. Saves goffing on the towel 😂. Also get my balls from encore golf. 20 pearl Titleist true feels for £20.
cheaper golf ball he says Srixon as333 my main ball, in winter i got top flites out
Hope the 4h man isn't sulking!!??
Best bit about winter golf is the fact the course is a bit quieter. Gives you time to practice shots or play 2 balls yourself.
Did I hear you say its a par 3 off that mat, then take 4 shots and say that was par (just after saying its a birdy putt you missed)?!
wilson do some orange duo optix balls that I find stand out well in the winter grass/leaves
How to play a mud ball video would be great!!!
Can't wait for winter (second and third week of January). Currently 89F here in Tucson, AZ. Winter wardrobe shorts and golf shirt til winter when I have to wear a pair of slacks and maybe an undershirt. Sigh. 🤣
Here in the southern US, my main concession to winter golf is to use lower compression balls
Thanks James 👍🥃🇨🇦
Great shot Jimmy!! Get in!!!
Top Men!!
In my neck of the woods. The off season is no season. Usual there is more than a foot of snow on the ground or you are playing on ground as hard as concrete.
Lots of possibilities and thought provoking info in just 13 mins. Awesome. Whats not to like, thanks James.
Guys what bounce should I have on a 54 and 58 wedge. I’m new to golf and I’m not sure what to get
James great video
Ain’t no off season down under! Best part about Oz… the weather!!
Looking forward to some winter golf as I live in Kenya now and I am comming to UK for Xmas. Am I bringing my clubs? You can bet on that.
Good thing about winter golf is you find how far your carry is for each club as there is little roll. The drop in temp is also reducing distance ball goes.
Bad points “stingers” really do
hey James.. watt can you compare the takomo 201 irons against.. right now im playing the cobre forged one irons… are the 201 irons easyer or harder to play??
The WHS now means that all our winter league rounds as long as there’s no more than two winter greens on count towards your index 👀 I’m not sure how I feel about it 😂 I like having lessons and working on stuff in winter but don’t want the index flying up in the process.
Yes please. Do one about mud on ball. Also when and how to pick and place.
Mud on ball off the fairway is a killer. ⛳️
Hi James just seen an advert for the takomo weges will you be giving these ago
What trousers have you got on? 😂
Like to see dalton on the videos again, what a golfer he is #purestrikes
great vid mate. I do the same in the winter, I tend to put my half set of blades in the bag and work on strike. Also the Kirkland signature is a great winter ball at around £1 a ball.
Nice vid, I've just switched to my Kirkland winter balls and am now practicing different shots with different clubs off the tee and fairway.
Great winter tips, much appreciated 👍
You need to come to the Grampians GC in Victoria Australia. There is no off season!
Great video James
Here in Michigan it is hard to play on course during winter due to weather we just got our first snow of the winter this morning. Will you do any videos about hitting off mats to keep swing prime ? Im sure many of us would like that
Hi ,
I started golf in June, and I’m noticing that now that the weather is getting colder, my shots get shorter.
Is it me getting “worse” or does the temperature & weather impact on the length of our shots?
Cheers,
Thomas
I love your videos man, so informational!
