In today’s video we’re testing a new club which is due to launch on the UK market very soon!

This could possibly the most versatile and most forgiving solution for anybody struggling to hit fairway woods or hybrid / rescue clubs.

We put this to the test in a one club challenge playing vlog against mid handicap golfer Chris Wilkinson.

  1. Recently bought 4 and 5 hybrids, so easy to hit off the ground and due to the better strike not much distance lost compared to fairway woods either

  2. Looks a very useful club. Suggest that you keep Jack off the vodka before giving him the camera. The shots of feet made me clean my shoes.

  3. Great video Gary, very interesting new club . If you could increase the volume of your audio of your videos it would be better..Thank you…<><…:)

  4. Love your videos Gary and I know money can be an issue for guys with newer channels but sound sound sound. Maybe a couple of mics in the near future. Otherwise love the videos.

  5. I play off 5 but never been confident off deck with woods. Had this shipped over from America on December and custom fitted a Tensei AV Raw Blue 80 gram stiff shaft into it and it’s been a complete game changer! So easy to hit and not just for a high handicap player.

  6. That looks like a very versatile club that could find a home in anyone's Bag.
I've just Googled them and they are available for £169 from Clubhouse Golf, defo worth a punt for that price

  7. I’ve tried this when it first came out, and it’s really strange to look down at. It looks like large hybrid at the end of a 3 wood length shaft! I just don’t thick I could get comfortable with it!

  8. Hi mate. Great video. That taylormade club was called a raylor. I have a couple of hybrids in the bag they are superb. Just put a 64 degree lob wedge back in the bag and it's saved me some many shots.

  9. Just a heads up in case you weren't aware, your audio is only coming out of one speaker (left) of my headphones.

  10. Can you provide an English translation for the American audiences? The slang/accents are too much.

  11. After a lesson at northwest indoor golf, was advised to try hybrids as I'm rubbish with 4 and 5 iron off the deck, absolutely made up now with my taylormade sim2 4 hybrid and gapr 5 hybrid, great video

  12. Mark crossfield had a good video on this club a few months back. Just bought a callaway mavrik super hybrid on eBay, excited to give it a go! Being a high handicapper, I’m hoping it’ll be easier off the deck than my 3wood.

  13. I've had a Wilson staff fybrid in my bag for probably 10 years. Its 19.5* loft and and has the rails on the bottom like the Cleveland Halo. They made it to bridge the gap between hybrids and woods. It's longer than a 3 hybrid but shorter than a 5 wood. They made a whole line from 5 hybrid to 3 wood. Since it came out Taylormade and now Cleveland have came out with similar ones. I love that club. It's easy to hit from all lies, you can chip with it, and you can hold greens with it. I'd probably love the Cleveland also if it plays anything like the fybird.

  14. I got 2 halo hybrds in the bag and ditched my PXG's and put them in the closet. These changed my whole game DRAMATICALLY. I'm a different player now.
