In today’s video, we’re talking about the best ways to sell golf clubs! Ebay was always my go to platform to sell golf equipment, however, they’re now very greedy!

What other ways and options do we have to sell our used golf clubs?…

  1. Charges are ridiculous, I only sell when I get 80 percent off selling fees. Which they send me an email every couple of weeks.

  2. I use eBay when they have there 80% discount on selling fees, have also used golf bidder in the past which was also very good as free postage and they send you a box as well if over certain amount.

  3. I wait until they send me an offer off fees it’s not worth it otherwise as I think the minimum is 13% now

  4. I sold on golfclubs4cash. Went to my local pro shop first and they offered me less than half of what I got. Really good service, they even sent me a box to send the clubs back to them

  5. One thing to beware of on the 80% off selling fees offer – in the small print you have to start selling within the offer period. I personally was caught out with this as I scheduled a future start date to so the auction ended on a weekend. I got screwed for the full 13% fees !

  6. I only sell on eBay when they send me the 80% off sellers fees offers. And don’t use Evri for postage as they lose parcels and it’s virtually impossible to contact to get compensation!

  7. I've not sold a club on Ebay in awhile but when I'm in a buying mode I search for the best price everywhere! I'll use Market Place or sell to my mate's if I have something interesting I'm not using!! 🐊🏌🦅🇺🇲👌

  8. Give simon from SAS golf a call i’m sure he’ll do you a deal, 2nd hand is the name of his game, i should know i sold him some stuff. Going serious ebay is expensive on charges sold my pxg driver and 5 wood little while ago they took a chunk my problem is they take your postage in the fee as well. I’ve always charged what the post office charge no extra so i don’t make any money on it but ebay add that to your total then take your fee, absoloute joke.

  9. Seen both Gaz and Dalton selling on marketplace. Sometimes takes a bit longer to get the sale, but you know if £200 is the price you're gonna get the whole £200.

  10. Lookup Golf Clubs 4 Cash in Loanhead near Edinburgh. Do good deals on sales, friendly, and fair. They can do online or have large premises at Loanhead. I worked out eBay costs and postage (it’s not easy get postage on long items like clubs) and sold through this company instead. They have extensive range of quality second hand equipment and you get a good deal on purchases clubs as well.

  11. I did use eBay but realised there was only ever one winner. I’ve sold £1500 worth of clubs in 6 months and been paid out £1278:87🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️
Tried Shpock 💩 Gumtree is ropey, my ads keep getting cancelled without any explanation.
I’m 44 so don’t have Facebook but, I’ve heard the marketplace is pretty good.
Anybody able to set up a site and charge a set fee per item or a set percentage that was user friendly would be onto a winner.

  12. Alternatively, you could have a YouTube channel and let your mates sell their gear on it every now and then!!!

  13. I'm trying to sell a driver and a full set of irons at the minute. On Facebook marketplace and a specific golf sale/trade group. No joy though.

I'm loath to use Ebay because of their fees. A set of £500 irons and you're looking at £60-70 fees. Scandalous IMO.

  14. James you are not sorry. You always give Gaz crap. The honest problem is Gaz it too nice. James, you don't deserve his friendship.
