It was great to return to this hidden gem located 15 miles from Aberdeen and finish the round we started. Luckily this time around there was no snow or hail and we got to enjoy the full course.

Described as “Old fashioned links golf at its finest” and it did not disappoint. The front 9 and back 9 are very different. This is because when Newburgh was founded in 1888 it was only a 9 hole course and it later expanded to 18 holes in 1994 with the addition of a new front 9. I loved this course and highly recommend it if you are looking for somewhere to play in the Aberdeenshire area.
