So LIV is here (for the moment) but I wonder when the "Womens LIV" is going to start….. or could it be the Saudi's might not appreciate financing such a tour?
Re LIV tour I also don’t get the team thing. Teams usually play in same colour, play together have some sort of confrontation with the opposing team. This just seems to be an after thought
It’s a pretty clickabaity title as you don’t actually say why John didn’t agree to film with you… just contractual reasons and lack of time… which could mean anything

Lady golfer left her trolley way too close to the tee we were about to use,my partner asks if he can move it,she says ok.He moves it and the handle collapses due to rust.She went absolutely ballistic at him shouting and swearing at him.He was about to apologise and be see if he could help her complete her round but she was going nuts.We walk away.Next day we were there commitee member wants a word.
She had twisted the story to suit her version of events wanting a full replacement paid for.No chance that was happeneing.Next time i saw her she was being breath tested at the side of the road after her latest round of golf.Never seen her again.karma

LIV golf is cheesy AF
Corporate media isn't telling you to be excited about these events and isn't constantly banging on the "history/legacy" narrative to pre condition you to view these events in a specific light. Media drives narrative and tells most people how to feel about events before they even witness the event themselves.

Well you cant expect everything to go hunky dory all the time. You are lucky to film allot of good times with certain Pros since you are not a major sports network. Maybe better luck next with John Daly.

Okay the thought just came to me! PGA tour is for the young up-and-coming studs to grind out on! Liv tour is the semi retirement 40-year-old PGA tour stars. Then champions tour once you're 55 to 60!

I’m SSOO disappointed! I new JD was supposed to be on the show and I’ve held off watching all week till I had time to watch the full episode.

I root for players in professional sports to win, but then I think about the millions of dollars they get for it and it ruins the whole damn thing. Why is winning a golf tournament worth a million dollars for hitting a ball for 4 days, and being a cop or a fireman that might save your life one day worth 40-50 grand a year. How did this world get so screwed up about what in life is really important.
Their management wouldn't let him film with you guys but they had no problem with him filming with Country Club Adjacent… Make that make sense…
I seem to be in the minority but I actually find myself enjoying The LIV format. I think the team format is what drives my interest. I think they are on to something there.
We hate change. Thats it and it very simple. I believe this will take a long time to catch on as we learn the courses and formats. And the next generation of people saying I saw that match years from now. Its hard when theres no history. I will give it more chances. They way I look at it at this moment is its just more golf for me to watch than there was before. Yahoo!

If you like LIV golf, watch it. If you don't like it just don't watch it. It's not real complicated. All of you LIV hater that accuse the players of taking "blood money" from Saudi Arabia, why is it OK for the PGA to take "blood money" from Communist China. In case you don't know it, in 2018 the PGA started the "Chinese Pro Tour" and signed a 20 year agreement to run it. The pga also opened 3 golf academys in China and run them. The PGA started all the talk about blood money from Saudi Arabia because they don't want anyone competing with their monoply. It's ok for the PGA to go into Communist China and start a pro tour but it's not ok for LIV to have a tour. What a bunch of hypocrites. By the way Rory and Tiger made most of their fortune, not from their PGA winnings but from endorsements from Nike and Taylormade. The caps, clothes,
Shoe and their golf clubs are all made in "Communist China" using slave labor. So I guess most of Rory and
Tigers money is "blood money."
To me, my opinion it feels like here's alot of $ in Liv to throw away your legacy and career.

Really thought it was interesting to hear Guy’s thoughts on LIV. I feel the exact opposite and find the telecast much better with the nonstop action. Also, it is not 8 hours of golf which I don’t want to watch.
LIV is just about GN giving the middle finger to the PGATOUR. All the players who joined are doing the same. Don't care for it and will not watch it ever. Still amazed the Titleist, and Taylormade still sponsor some of those guys, they are bringing nothing to them.

I don't get the anger over LIV. I understand that the PGA is mad because it weakens their product, but why not let the golfers play both? NASCAR let's drivers compete in multiple series, the PGA and LIV need to work together to schedule events so they compliment each other, versus compete against each other. Swallow the pride and work it out for the betterment of the game, for crying out loud.
So basically it was all about how much Daly would be paid then.
Its really interesting hearing your LIV comments in contrast with last week speaking about Good Good who totally changed the YouTube presentation on golf. I guess being new and innovative only goes so far with old stuffy English YouTube golfers. 🤔

PGA only has the majors now. No top golfer is playing every week anyway, many are playing a handful of events a year leading up to majors and the majors. Who wants to play the fill in events for peanuts when they can do the same with LIV for a shitload more $$. The romantic side of golf and the legacy of the PGA is irrelevant to players, only fans and commentators care, those who don't get paid. The point of a shotgun start is that everyone plays in the same conditions. A no brainer really.
Would Tony Finau have won 4 times on the PGA Tour if all the LIV golfers were playing as well
