You have nailed it bro 😎
This is awesome! Congrats to you on the success of the channel and where it has been able to take you!
Nice one Simon, good luck for the future
Well done Simon, I really enjoy your content 🙂
A job you love is no job at all.
Well done mate. Glad you did it and keep thinking positive and never give up…..
Great channel, can you do a buy and review of Honma irons, don’t know why I just like the look of them and would like your thoughts
Early on when i subbed this channel i periodically caught some episodes.. but i hadnt known what the intentions of the channel were and i was even critical… but i kept tuning in, then it finally dawned on me the VALUE of these vdeos… i've now switched to buying preowned.. and got family members who enjoyed golf to buy well cared for pre-owned clubs… its been awhile since my last comment.. but i'm able to admit i was wrong about the value of the info here… you saved me a bundle.. keep up the stellar content.. i will be tuning in for the next… !
Hi Simon, can remember your first videos and you gave me some quick swing advice back in the day! Your content is refreshing, interesting and something I always look forward to 👍 As I only have 2 clubs in my bag I bought new your advice and guidance on second hand gear is just what lots of us old hands, and newbies need.
It sounds like you finally do it everyday. Respect. You’re a good un
Your videos are always the best do receive a notification each time you post a new video.. We'll have regrets for things we did not participate in…Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life.
You're almost emotional there at the end…..no matter what you do in life, there are always going to be days when you're not "feeling it" i think is the term. This is the best golf channel hands down in my book…keep on rocking it Si.
Simon love the channel but please please please stop calling your children KIDS goats have kids humans have children I know you are so proud to be a father, of two CHILDREN so please say children thank you
yes be thankfull for what you have
You're blessed Simon. A wonderful family is when you really made it. Nothing beats the day your girlfriend says yes except the day of marriage and then nothing beats that day other than the birth of your child.
Super pleased it worked out for you buddy, but don’t forget you got here through your own hard work. Wish you all the best in the future
Great stuff and really happy for you💪💪🤙🤙
You have made me interested in buying and trying to sell old equipment 😂
Did find a scotty cameron newport 2 Pro platinum for 5£ and it looks great but its a lefty so I can't use it but will sell of and try and make a nice profit😂
But I am also looking to upgrade my irons. I have callaway x hot that I bought on sale 2 years ago and now that I have lowered my hcp to 14 (returned to the game after 18 years absent so just bought some clubs😂 ) from 30+ I feel they are actually starting to restrict me. I have learned to shape the ball but the big heads make it hard. So I am going down the second hand route to try and find a more of a players iron.
Love the trick shots at the start! So casual as well 😂
Keep being you should be point number 3! You come across as a genuine person and it makes your videos great to watch for me. Congrats
I started will all used equipment, but have slowly bought new clubs that better fit my game to replace the old stuff. I’ve saved a ton of money by not buying new clubs while I was in the growing stages of my game.
Well done…great sense of perspective. DJ 9 wood 250 yards……most of us would be happy with a driver that far….
I watch your videos every morning here in Thailand. I have followed you for years now. I remember you getting the Vega heads. Other video people have come and gone on my subscriptions. You make interesting and enjoyable videos. Please keep doing the videos that entertain me every morning. Yourself, James Robinson, Average Golfer, Golf Mates, Alex Elliott and Let's Play Through videos are excellent.
Never tire of your content, honesty and amazing trick shots. You deserve the success you have and hope its just the start. Top bloke 👍💪
Love to see it. Great channel, and it's great to see other voices on here showing that golf doesn't have to be perfect or expensive.
So happy for you!!!
You should have millions of subscribers, just sayin' …
Simon keep doing what you're doing. People like it.
thanks for what you do Simon!
super cool journey! good luck for the future.
Your story about the lady reminds me of something that happened with me 20-25 years ago. A) I hate lessons, and B) I love to buy and try different clubs, new or used. I was a monthly visitor to my favorite golf store in Florida, and the owners knew I was always going to leave with something new. One day I went in and met a new employee. I was looking for irons, we got on the launch monitor and he was giving me swing tips which only resulted in a sore back. He said I don’t need new irons, only some lessons. As I was walking out, one owner asked what I was getting. I said your guy suggested some lessons would be better. Needless to say, I could hear the ass chewing all the way out of the store.
Great video again, keep it up, if you enjoy it keep doing it, what's your ebay as I have looked for it, I'm always on ebay, brought a couple off club's cobra S2, couple off hybrids, bit older but still do the job
Well deserved. Enjoy the channel. Been there on your journey. Remember the long drive ‘phase’ 😂 keep going. Built keep evolving. All the best.
a true fan of yours mate, just like so many others following your content, it isn't about the golf clubs but the stories and insight to life's challenges that you give us. You deserve every success that may come your way
congratulations……..
for taking 6 minutes of my life …
You are so humble. No joking or lying, that was a very humble and selfless video. I pray that out of your humility, you receive even more blessings.

Hello 👋
Nice one Simon. You are one of the good guys. Keep plugging away.
Didn't know you had anything to do with Sub 70, I met them at NEC and they were brilliant. The only brand actually talking to and caring about their customers
It was you that got me into second hand clubs, buying and selling them and being able to find the clubs that I want to play with… thank you!
my son is beginning to play more at 28 yrs old, he's using my old clubs and probably are too long and soft for him. I tell him to get fitted and then shop for a used set matching those spec to save some $. I think that's a good approach for atleast a beginner
I really like your videos but I hate your click bait titles. Just say what the video is about.
Just wanted to say thank you for keeping me sane through my illness just started playing again after major chest surgery which all the muscles have been cut on the left hand side of the ribcage so I can swing properly yet. Thanks to you sharing your knowhow I have acquired a full new bag for £41. You would not believe what I got. I needed senior clubs instead of my stiff set up. My old bag cost over 1k to put together and my new bag was 41.
Lynx crystal ladies driver 3 wood and hybrid, lynx Predator 5-SW and the best bit a mint condition Odessey I spotted on a £10 job lot it mint condition with head cover. I have now spent 1k on second hand clubs and I am going to flip them and buy more it is more of a hobby than a job but I now have an Aladdins cave of golf clubs to try and move on and so far I'm doing rather well and it has really boosted my recovery I just want to say thank you for planting the seed in my head I even bought a sim max on the driving range for cash today from a fella with more money than sense and walked in the shop and sold it for 30 quid more 3 minutes later. After suffering months of illness these small wins are amazing I have written the thousand pounds off as fun and I am going to invest every penny buying new clubs and trying them all it is so much more fun than going into American golf and being custom fit by someone who cares more about the sale than you so far I am enjoying picking the gold nuggets out of the poo than buying the big ticket items. Like the full set of mint condition Titleist DTR I got from a charity shop. When I get my swing back I can't wait to hit them I remember drooling over these in the club shop when I was 16 with my half set of pinseekers. Sorry to bang on but I have had such fun doing this and as a man in his late forties when new music is bad you start looking at old music you never tried before and I've realised it's the same with golf clubs why play with one set when you can change them whenever you want and try everything. Again I just want to say thanks for the inspiration.
