The rotation of the hips in the backswing can make or break your golf swing. It’s vital to get this right so you produce a more functionally simple golf swing. Most golf instruction and tips focus on the hips making a turn or rotation in the backswing. But, if you overdo this, it can cause more problems in the swing. My golf swing is based on my left knee I move it to start the backswing
And my downswing my weight goes back onto the left side my left knee and leg straightens
It works for me

After watching this lesson I realize I need to pay attention to how much knee-bend I have at setup. It makes sense that too much would encourage lifting, which I sometimes have problems with. Is it a problem if my left foot comes off the ground a little during the backswing? Thanks.
