Lovely guy and one of the great ball strikers to ever play. But he is not a world class putter and knows it deep in his core and you can't win a major without being at least a very good putter. He may in fact be a less than average putter on the PGA tour.
Corey got beat in the final round by an 'average ball striker' who doesn't hit the ball much different than an amateur club champion from any big club but….who happens to be the best putter in the game.
