  1. Great vid. Really targets the small detail of how that small disconnect can mess up your swing.

  2. Hey 👋 Eric, this is a great 👍 little drill that I’m sure I need more of because I tend to get the club pushed away from and under the plane line going back. Not so much “sucked in” behind me, as it is my arms and club getting too far out passed (under)the plane line. My hands 🙌 stay on the plane line in the takeaway and backswing, though it should be the club head that does that, not the hands. This drill should help with that, right?

  3. Honestly out of all the instructional channels yours is the best for me! Love your swing also

  4. Great stuff like always Eric! My problem with the takeaway is getting the wrists in the ulnar deviation position. I have to go radial deviation immediately just to be normal. Can you explain how this works so good when the cupping of the wrists is so strongly discouraged in the backswing?

  5. Awesome…disconnected at range yesterday after 1 hr session in FLORIDA weather! Thanks for the reminder.

  6. Eric do you suggest maintaining an awareness of upper arm pressure against chest to achieve connectedness?

  7. I actually randomly started doing this drill the other day cause this is my worst fault, getting too armsy…I didn't even realize it was a drill or honestly If it was something I was supposed to do in the golf swing, but i started hitting it better…nice to see it confirmed here, this is gonna be something I do everyday
