How to – The story of why and also how to preparation for Gun Bluing of Gary’s cherished Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Titleist Golf Putter without damaging it.
Hello, I am in the process of doing the exact same restoration on a Scotty Newport and I think I am going to buy your product if I you can answer a couple questions for me. First off, what was the final grit you got down to in order to get the mirror shine? So far, I am at about 500 and it is looking rather nice.I am considering going down to possibly 800 from what I have read from a couple others who restored their Scotty's as well. Your thoughts? Finally, which specific product of yours would you recommend I order to complete this project? Thank you, Jason
Hi have you try this technique with a marker pen and stove up? Mean you coloring your wedge with the marker pen then you put in the stove then that turn the same color as your oil can.
You need to have a lint free cloth and a silicone oil and rub it down every time you use it like every hole. The club will rust because of fertilizers on the green and also rust because of water always dry it off before you put it away. It's made of carbon steel very soft and will easily go rusty especially the insert it's basically copper

You are SO wrong at the start. Tiger did use a Scotty Cameron Teryllium putter to win the 97 Masters, but that was about all you got correct.
1) He used a Newport, not a Newport 2
2) He used a "sole stamp" model. The one you show is second generation.
get a life??
@bjackson2718 Exactly
@swansob tiger uses a newport 2
Hi, how much would you charge to do this to my putter? I cannot buy your solution in the UK 🙁
