We catch up with George Bryan at Regional Qualifying at Alwoodley Golf Club.

George has been in the UK preparing himself for Regional Qualifying by playing some links golf in the local area but will it be enough to make it through to Final Qualifying?

Series 2 of The Road to The Open follows four golfers on their journey to The Open, each taking their own unique Road to The Open either via Open Qualifying, or earning their place by gaining exemption through the world’s best amateur events.

  1. Jerge! Let’s go!!! You’ve got this💪. Obviously not the result you wanted but keep that positive mindset going:)

  2. Awesome job jerge..man. I think Augusta should hire you for a masters week documentary

  3. What was great about this video was seeing both you and Mills enjoying this experience together, it is a memory you can cherish forever. Blessings to you both and Annie from Richard in Cosby, east Tennessee. POSITIVE VIBRATIONS!

  4. I truly believe you will qualify next year for the Open. Great seeing you out there chasing your dream.

  5. TLDR. NO he cannot, his hold of every finish looks cool though…..

  6. You might be a 2-3 handicap, probably need to be in the +3ish handicap to make any waves, need to make up 5 strokes and round and have the ability to go low, don't think you got it

  7. Great effort mate. I stumbled across George’s videos and his personality slowly won me over as a fan. Should try and qualify for Australian Open. The courses in Melbournes sand belt are simply amazing and here in Sydney we have a few super tracks. The Australian Open winners record are the equal of all the majors. Nicklaus, Player, Palmer were here battling for the title for 15+ years but the USA tour and miss management by Australian officials have weakened it sadly

  8. How does scoring work? Do the players keep it and it’s just the honor code? Haha or is there a scorer with the open or it’s affiliates with each group keeping score as well
