  1. To the ones who likes these kinds of post this is for you. I Hope your day, week, even year is a blessed one. Life is to short to hate and be mad at anything. Start reaching out to loved one more because you never know when it’s our last day here. Whatever it is in life you want to do go after it don’t let anyone tell you other wise. Keep on fighting, pushing, and grinding through whatever you are going through hope all is well peace and one love.🙏🏽

  2. That natural wrist hinge at the top of the swing is really subtle and there are so many things in golf like that where you really have to pay close attention.

  3. Wow watched heaps videos on wrist hinge lately as I am flipping it left hard and this is the first one that made sense thanks can’t wait to try it out.

  4. People always ask me how I hit my wedges so low/far/spinny. The secret is to keep the face closed all the way to the top.

  5. Freddie has a four-knuckle left-hand grip so he's allowed to have a cupped wrist as this equates to a square clubface. If you have a traditional two-knuckle or even a one-knuckle grip like Hogan, then embrace the bowed left wrist at the top, like Morikawa and Hovland, as this equates to your Right-wrist being in full extension at the top – which is the best position to deliver maximum power – and it also equates with you not letting the club cross the line which can create further issues if you don't re-route the club immediately in transition.

  6. I like it. I have a tendency to start my back swing with a little wrist movement. But after watching a lot of your video and one on taking 3/4 back swings, I started to hold my wrist position more and just let it hinge on it's own when I start my downswing – which I think is what you are suggesting here. Works a lot better. Much more consistent – especially when chipping or taking less than a full swing. Great stuff.

  7. Interesting swing thoughts. Going to give it a go tomorrow and will get back to you. I have nothing to loose so open to all ideas.

  8. OMG. You want to slow your arms down not your f…king hips. That's a clue why you were hooking the ball before. STOP WITH THE STUPID SWING TIPS. Knowing that you are not a golf coach, you have no idea what I am talking about.

  9. 100% agree with this. The wrist hinge and lag happen naturally when you don't over manipulate the wrists/clubface on the backswing. We could all use one less swing thought.

  10. Matt, I have recently improved my swing by hinging my wrists (I was hardly hinging them at all). Results were great. But I'll give what you are saying a try.

  11. If you want to compress / maximize your iron performance, run away from everything you’ve just seen in this video.

The Analysis is just flat out not correct here, Fred couples has a cupped wrist because he has a strong grip, not because he’s “flipping” or whatever the hell this guy is trying to say

Wrist position is based on your grip, if you have a strong grip, your wrist will be cupped at the top to square the clubface (Zach Johnson)
If you have a neutral grip, your wrist will be flat at the top to square the clubface (Adam Scott)
A weak grip player will bow his wrist to square the clubface (Rahm, Speith, Morikawa)

And then on top of it, to say hinging your wrists will cause only poor contact is just nonsensical. Wrist hinge and creating proper angles is LITERALLY how you strike the ball correctly and maximize the shots you are hitting (speed/spin)

Again to each his own, but man oh man you will be hard pressed to find many sticks/pros etc that would subscribe to anything in this video

  12. This is reassurance for me. I've been doing this lately trying to find what works for me and I am so much more consistent. The fact that you posted a video of this method is crazy. I thought I was just making stuff up 😆

  13. Holy S***! That is the single greatest drill for making my ball strikes consistent. I have a long way to go adding tempo/speed but, wow, that straightened up my shot and is way more consistent. Thank you sir!

  14. This video right here is what I needed!!! Going to take this to the practice net and dial it in!
