Hi Guys,

Here is my latest video.

Today I am looking at which of these 3 players distance irons are best?

  1. I tried everything in the Player's Distance category. My final 3 were the Mizuno Pro 225, Cobra Forged Tec (2021 version better for me than than 2022), and the Wilson D9 Forged. Ordered the D9 Forged because they felt as soft or softer than the Mizuno, tightest dispersion, easiest to hit, and as long as the Cobra or Mizuno. And cheaper too! Ordered with Recoil 460 ESX R shaft. I'm 72 and played previously with T-M RAC LT irons, but needed more help. The Ping i525 just didn't work at all for me, and the Titleist T200 wasn't a fit either. The key – get fit – to see what club works the best for you!

  2. I’ve been looking for a move from MP20 blades so this review has been great. I’ve tested the i525 up against P770 and Mizuno 223. i525 gave me the best numbers and actually the tightest dispersion. Tested the glide wedges to work those into the set and need to check gapping at the bottom end but seems the lofts move to a more standard arrangement.
