This break 80 is a special one as the mrs is caddying. Will today be the day? Will Emma see me finally break 80 or will the wait go on.
I don’t think I can take another 3 footer for 79 after last time!
Hope you enjoy, Gaz!

Well done mate, can't see why from now on you can't break 80 everytime 👍
Well done man. When playing into wind and clubbing up, just swing smooth, don't try to let the wind get in your head. A smoother swing into wind will keep the ball from ballooning. Still, good work man.
Long time coming that break 80 driver was on🔥🔥🔥
Nice job. Where to next is easy. Break 75. That's my goal. I play with a group on the weekends and we pick a new course and play there for three weeks. We give ourselves three chances at it. 3 rounds to learn what we can about how to best use our game on that course. Learn the contours of the greens to we can get balls close to the hole. Sometimes it's 3 strikes and your out, but we manage it at other courses well enough. Our first week on a new course was last week and I missed the break 75 goal thanks to a bad decision on 16 and a bad cart path bounce to cap it off. I broke 80. The old goal. But not the new one. But I have two more chances at it. The next is Saturday.
Gaz best thing for course management is a system called decade from Scott fawcett check it out
Great Gaz… Happy with you on the 79…🎉🎉
I’ve played low laithes before and actually got my best score there (103, yet to break 100😂) I’d like to see you play Grange Park in Rotherham next to Peter Cowens golf academy I find it a lot harder than low laithes!
It’s a narrow and tricky course, only saving grace is, if you miss the fairways in the central part of the course you end up on another fairway, similar to northcliffe in Bradford
I think it’s tight fairways what makes it hard, not played there in ages
Hole 11 looks like a driver to me. Unless there's some hazards we can't see!
Good work Gaz we’ll deserved
well done GAZ
The content, editing and graphics is up there with the big golf channels now. Deserving of so many more viewers!! No doubt you’ll get there 👏🏼
What watch is that gaz?
Course management is my strong point. Mainly because I’m dreadful with my driver.
Dead right on course management. Leaving yourself good yardages into greens is a massive part of scoring well I think. We have a 330 yard par 4 at our club which is reachable and for years I’d leave myself 40 yards if it’s windy by hitting driver. Started hitting a 2 iron off the tee, 100 yard wedge, loads of stopping power and a lot more consistent on distance control. It’s now become a hole where I’m genuinely thinking about a birdie rather than being happy walking off with a par.
Class that, should have a round at sandburn hall in york 👌🏼
Well done bud 👏 ⛳⛳⛳
Well done mate! I think you would be Rick Shiels more times out of 10 than he would beat you. Think your shoot low soon
That last hole was buckling haha. Quality content! Love it
What’s your current handicap Index
That shot that hit the tree and landed at your feet is my golf game all over 😅Well done on finally doing it!
leave your favourite shot in on short par 4's (way of the playa, golf side kick youtuber) i always prefer an 8 iron to the green so 280 par would be 7 iron then 8 iron wind dependant(my clubs are traditional lofts coz they're cheap and old haha)
you'd def be dangerous with a couple of dumbbells in your hand haha watch your toes
Your swing is quality. Im Surprised that's your first time breaking 80. Fair play.
The self interview at the end was great 😅
Congrats on making it happen!
Congratulations keep it up great 👍
What a putt on 16!!!
Best vid yet m8,loved it 👏 well done 😂👍
Gaz, you’re hitting it so pure – those lessons certainly working 👍🏼
Come and play at Baildon Gaz! It’s a really testing track! I am a member and a section captain at the club and would love to have you up there!
I play with a work colleague who always hits his longest club to get as close to the green as possible.
He doesn't club down or anything to give him a PW/9 Iron/8 Iron shot in, he'll always get his 3wood and hybrid out.
I think it also depends how good someones short game is too. I'm more confident with an 8/9 Iron than I am a 58 degree, so thats another reason why I like to hit the ball a bit shorter to give me a confident shot in.
Hole 12 is the hole where my Grandpa made his one and only ever hole in one.
It's also the same hole where he suffered his cardiac arrest, so really mixed feelings seeing that hole again.
Yes Gaz, well played. Striking the ball nicely. Just joined a local course on Wirral and on the same journey. Drop me a line if you’re ever in the NW….
Love this mate. Love to see it!
Well done gaz
Well done gaz , you’ll Strive forward now , great interview at the end 😂
Buzzing bro great score and some great birdies hopefully more to come! Maybe having Emma as the lucky charm might have to be a feature going forward even if it’s only once a month 🏌🏻⛳️
Yaaaaaaas! That was tense man. Felt like I was playing it with you 😂 well done 👏🏻 🍻
Well done lad class content 👌
Nice!
Well done mate 👏🏻 love watching your videos, played low laithes before tough number welcome to the break 80 club, I’ve only ever done it once lol
Congrats!!! Keep working hard and more rounds in the 70's will come.
Well done lad ,I'm trying to brake 90 and keep just coming up short ,can't wait for that feeling 🤣👍🏻
It doesn’t look that tough of a course as long as you stay our the trees like you did very well, great round! 💪
Mint to see how buzzing you are with reaching your target, your game has come on leaps and bounds since I’ve been a regular viewer!
Bring it home Gaz, let’s see you play Close House!! 🏌️♂️🏆
Every course needs to be played properly as i believe there all possible for anyone. Just most get into your head before you play.
