  1. An excellent explanation Tom as to the benefits of a straight left arm in the swing! What I have done to maintain this position with the left arm is to imagine my left thumb (I'm right handed) is being held by my right hand and is being pulled back by it. This not only gets the left arm into a straight position, but gives width to the backswing. I really like your suggestion of a split hand drill to emphasis the position. Good job Tom!

  2. So at what point should the the left arm bend so you can complete the swing after impact? No one talks about that.
