  1. Once I get a little better I’m going to get fit for some irons and these are definitely on the list of clubs I want to test

  2. Between Matty and now Boucher, I feel like these lefty golfers with great righty swings are just flexing on me everywhere I go lol.

  3. Cobra Mims are my favorite iron shape. I always had a soft spot for the Mims. They are almost identical to Nike Vapor Pro Combo, which I consider the best shape irons ever. And I game Miuras. Thats how high I regard Cobra Mims; Im hoping these are like then. Mims and Wilson Staff are criminally underrated.

  4. Really waiting for these forge tec to come to Thailand in 3 months time. Had the gen2 black with AMT S300 black shafts n they are great, forgiving n soft feeling despite it being a cast head then

  5. "I could break 80, single digit handicap" AS A RIGHTY!?!?!? We mortals are calling for your retirement now 🤣 Love these swing speed/handicap specific videos though. Extremely helpful since a lot of this demographic doesn't commit to fitting. Thanks lads!

  6. Holy Cow, It is about time TXG reviewed these! Long over due….. I been waiting and checking every day for this review since embargo day. Month in on my 22' Forged Tecs and still loving them! Previously had a P790/P770 Combo set. These are definitely closer to the P770 but still in between the P790 ande P770. Feel is much better over the P790 and P770.

  7. Thanks for the great review Ian. Is the Cobra Forged Tec X larger than the standard Forged Tec…or does is just have stronger lofts and more offset?

  8. We need to see a course vlog. Boucher 1 man scramble. 1 shot lefty one righty. Maybe against Barath and Mikey.

  9. I'd be really curious to see a review of the one length variant of this club. The thought is they've been improving gapping and flight characteristics with each iteration, so I'd love to see if that's actually the case. And based on the specs on their website they actually reverse the lie angle from what standard would be kind of like what Ian was suggesting – the 'long' irons have a more upright lie and it gets progressively flatter through to the wedge. Love the work you guys do!

  10. I have a set of the Cobra Forged King One Length irons (2020 model) I have been messing around with and they are a lot of fun, this new version seems very promising

  11. Glad to see TXG review on these great irons!

I play the 2020 model and have for 2 years. Got indoor fit for the new 2022s: same specs and build but I personally had better numbers: strike location, peak height, descent angle, etc. with the older model. I also was able to test them outdoors for a day side by side and confirmed the numbers. The new model is more player-type for sure and require more from me: having a slower swing speed could be a factor (85mph 7i). For now, the 2020s remains the better choice for me.
