One of the joys of friendship is being able to have what to outsiders might seem cruel banter. Good friends know it flows both ways so when it’s your turn just suck it up.
Golf as a game is a great leveller anyway, hence you see pro’s shank shots, miss short putts, hit it thin and through the green etc. this is why when Rick played that classic chip shot we all tease him about it.
Peter actually came on Ricks channel post Guy’s comments , and I think he was out of order questioning people chasing their dream of trying to qualify for the open, the handicap level requires a good golfer anyway and it’s what makes the “Open” simply the best tournament globally, if you qualify via handicap you can enter and have a shot at playing in it, even if it then turns into a nightmare
Would much rather you had actually carried out these carry challenges and measured actual carry V what the monitor told you. Yes I am a bit of a Luddite but everyone seems to believe these carry and toll predictions when in the studio and neve compare to the real wotld
