It’s about time I worked on getting my wedges right. This simple change has already made a huge difference. If you need some help with your wedges give this a try. Thank you for watching! Much Love!
BubbieGolf, I have been playing golf since January. You’re the absolute goat but unfortunately, I need to put a good man down. Any avoidance will be taken as an act of hostility. You must play me in a round, it will be a round that is talked about for years after the 18th is finished. After I take your wedge tips from this video and beat you by using them, we will follow through with a wager discussed before the round. No running Bubbie. If I need to pull up to your home track, I’ll pick up a weekend job at my local California Taco Bell and quit after 2 weeks to buy a one way plane ticket where I’ll just camp out at the first tee of your local course until I finally run into you. (Hopefully you don’t start on 10 that day.) BubbieGolf and I need to put our 20 handicaps to the test. This is a King Kong vs Godzilla type match up. It’s what the people need Tom, don’t let the people down.
I KNEW this had to do with the alignment. I've always noticed it and just figured eh, just a bubbie thing. But I was starting to wonder if this was causing the difficulty to get inside the ball.
I always go back to the fundamentals. Alignment is the first thing I look at. I bought alignment sticks and I use them at the range to help keep me aligned.
I enjoy seeing all of you get better and better but I’m really excited to see you move up the ranks. I think you’ve got raw talent and it won’t take much to seriously improve.
Let’s go Bubbie this what I am talking about! Putting in that grind time to get those wedges hitting crispy. Proud of you man for trying to move on from that Texas Wedge
Was it that freaking hard bubbie? If you started working on that several months ago when everybody was begging you to practice your chipping instead of putting from 60 yards out of the rough, you would be pretty good by now. That being said, you're still coming in way too steep, if you're digging your club in the ground 5 inches behind the ball the club face will obviously twist in whichever direction and send the ball anywhere except the intended target. Work on SHALLOW divots, the best way to do that is simple, 9 shallow practice swings, hit a shot, repeat
“If your uncomfortable you’re doing it correct” when the swing feels good it’s probably not correct remember hearing this somewhere but it definitely makes sense cause when I feel like the swing feels normal I never hit it well but as soon as I force myself to do the uncomfortable things I’m told I start striping the ball!
The question is do you want to be as good as or a better player than Garett and Grant ? Because you certainly have the ability! Just have to put in the work!
Nice work man. Tbh all the putting from the rough or 30 yards out was getting really corny. Stoked you’re finally working on your wedge game. Keep it up.
Glad to see you getting more confidence with the wedges. When you have a really open stance with pitch shots, you tend to get too much weight on your back foot and that results in hitting the ground before the ball. Focus on putting more weight on your left foot so your low point is just under or past the ball. Good luck Bubby!
Been watching GG golf for awhile now… you definitely have moments of greatness.. such as clutch putting.. long drives.. if you improve your wedge game, you will no doubt be the dark horse threat.. keep up the practice, single digit handicaps are not too far off.. amd yeah.. i'm more of a team Stumps.. hahaha

Three words: grind & bounce. Learn which are best for you & save yourself a LOT of stress & mindless tinkering.

Bubbie just needs to be confident. Don’t be like “I’m just out here to play” be like I’m out here to contribute to the team and win
