Line of compression is the feeling your right hand has on the back of the shaft at the impact position.

Impact Fix – Chapters 3, 6, 7, 8 and probably more, TGM. It's all right there. Since 1969. The right forearm of the average hack always comes in too high. Get the right forearm in line with the club shaft. If you do, your crappy shots will be serviceable and your good shots could be great shots. You'll be more consistent and have more fun.
Excellent videos as always 👏🏼👏🏼
Really helpful, as always!
Best instructor on YouTube! Great drill to feel impact and compress the irons.
Hi Mike , really helpful once again. Can you relate this to L to L so I can blend this into the full swing AND hello from New Zealand.
Mike, great video. As a pre-shot set, I tuck my left elbow against my side (left handed). That gives me the preset feeling of the compression angle. I understand that might not be for everyone but it’s what I do to get the proper feeling. Thanks
Mike, I couldn't agree more with your comment in relation to the feeling you get when you hit a shot from the club centre. "your world changes". best statement in golf training.
Where is that driving range?
I love your instruction Mike. It just seems like common sense. I'm a wash up ball player myself. I'm not saying you're washed up. Lol thanks.
This is such a godsent eye opener for me Mike . I'm already convinced in my head and want to take it to the range and course and diligently work on it without getting distracted by other biomechanics. One at a time. I all of sudden lost my worries about gripping. I am a very good putter and chipper with this principle and I don't know why I did not take it to the whole game. All of a sudden all joints all lining up well . Can't go wrong with LOC I m confident my world will change fir better. Thanks a ton.
So we do use the right arm for power? I have instructors tell me to pull with the left arm, and the right arm should not push.
Hitting the tree….
First heard of that via Jimmy Ballard as he was told by Sam Byrd.
I'm sure its been around for a while…but that was the first I heard of it…and a blast from the past.
Always thoughtful and valuable content Mike.
I want to hit golf balls at that mountain someday.
Speaking of Sam Byrd, he is the answer to a great trivia question you'll appreciate being an old ball player.
Who was the only person to play in a World Series AND a Masters? Sam Byrd.
Well done Mike
Mike, I do the same setup but do it for both arms pressing against my left and right sides so I set my triangle formation, but without tension.
Such solid simple info. So money.
