  1. Hi Steven. Awesome video really enjoyed it. I remember going to cork with a few lads to swing a few of the wedges back in the day. You know these lads. You also know me. If you figure out who I
Am through my channel or what ever please keep it to yourself as I am very private and keep my actual life away from YouTube and YouTube away from life. Hence the mask but you might figure it out knowing me. Long story short I’ll give you a shout out in my next stream try being your sub base up.
    Good to see you lad

  2. Hi Stephen, great video. Just a "smaller" point!. The MB 101 are Miura's Large blades. The Baby Blades are a different club altogether. 15% smaller but with the exact same mass of metal squished even more. Only ever released every 3 years or so and not currently available or shown on their site. Original BB were called 1957 Blade in chrome. The Mk2 now has Baby Blade written on it instead of numbers, and is a satan finish. (same other then that). You'd have to look on Miura's FB page from last year to find a picture. They are only just wider then a ball. The grove bit is however the same as the 101's. BUT are meant to be much easier to hit then the MB101's, due to the small amount of turf interaction and extra dense metal. (I guess that assumes you've managed to hit the ball in the first place!). Warm regards.

  3. I was fitted into the TC-201s and they are the best feeling irons I have ever hit. I’m in love with this and muira story.

  4. Anything must feel good with that swing! Wish my striking was good enough for the TC atleast. Think the CB are still worth it?

  5. i'd love some BB's, i have the Nicklaus & my god they are gorgeous. Great review by the way 😎

  6. The 401 is made in China! Not made by Miura and cost more than a forged head made in Japan. Probably made by a company in China that mass produces heads for everyone.

  7. Golf porn…only way to describe it! When I win the lottery TC 201’s are going in the bag! Great review!

  8. I play the TC201's. I have had in the past baby blades and MB101s. The baby blades are pure and not as difficult to play as you would think. Wasnt that impressed with the 101's but the 201s are brilliant, perfect balance of a blade and a cavity.
Also as some one else said the 101 isnt the BB, the BB is a smaller head and infinitely better

  9. As someone who’s played blades for 30+ years, Lou Ortiz signature Orlimar’s and various Mizuno’s, I struggled with the feel of various forged cb’s for several years while looking for a bit of forgiveness and some distance I had lost at my age.

While I tried the 101’s, and agreed they are brilliant, I was fitted for the TC201 and MC501’s. The 501’s were a little strange at address as they appear to have a lot of offset. The TC201’s were noticeably bigger and the offset was not as obvious. Somehow the TC201 was just not a good fit. We concluded its wide sole was causing me turf interaction issues as the clubhead speed was consistently 3-4 mph slower with same MMT shaft. The 501’s, despite the initial impression at address was absolute butter. No big unintended draws I usually struggle with on offset irons. They are noticeably softer feeling than anything I had ever hit other than the Orlimar’s. I can control flight and I personally find them very forgiving on my misses. I ended up w/combo set: 401’s 4-6, 501 7-PW. We tweaked lofts a bit to get the distance progression I needed, 401’s are 1* weak, 501’s are 1* strong. It really reinvigorated my game, makes me want to get out there more often. The MMT shafts helped as well, relieving joint fatigue while still providing that feel at impact. I’m back to 170 for a comfortable 7 iron and the 401 4-iron is a comfortable 210. At 62 I can now still play from the blues with my son👍.

I’d warn folks that the only bad part of owning Muira’s is the constant questions I get about them at the clubhouse and out on course. There’s just this apparent mystique when golfers see that Miura logo on an iron.

  10. There is some Dark Magic going on at Miura to make an iron feel this good…. Hahahahaahaha! Yes Sir there is…..

  11. Question: How can a cavity back be fully forged? I’m not knocking Miura irons as I find them a piece of art in the golf industry, but something doesn’t sound quite right. As they say knowledge is power and I would love to know how that is possible.

  12. Have not heard a single bad thing about Miura. Not one. Guess I'll have to get myself a set.
