Thanks Russel! Great drill and explanation ⛳️🏌️♂️
Great drill to prevent standing up at impact as well
Great video 👍
Russell, those are great recommendations and drills to guard against casting and non-rotating of the body. An area that we amateurs all need a help in. Good Job!!!!
I did the alignment stick drill and now I’m in pain
Oh my, this one is brilliant. I can't wait to practice this and put it in motion…thanks, Russel!
Just love the way it’s all broken down and explained why, I was hitting my pitching wedge 90yards obviously casting, after watching two of your YouTube vids now hitting it 115-120 great job thanks
Hi Russell,
I have a very weak grip similar to Morikawa. I recently had a lesson and was advised to start bowing the wrist so I can square the club face. I cant get the hang of it for the life of me, it doesn't feel natural and feels like it's straining the wrist. Without having to change to a stronger grip, is there anything else that can be done instead of bowing the wrist? Or is this a necessity when you have a weak grip?
Huge fan of the channel!
Brilliant lesson ,your getting good at this instructing thing RH ,Awesome
Well explained.
As always Russell👍👍
Wow. Reflecting on my last bucket of balls this helps me understand a lot of my weaker shots. I think his will be a big step in consistency for me… both distance and accuracy. Thanks again Russ.
Great video and analogy of swing ax into a tree stump for a narrow hand path into impact. Another way to look at it I have discovered to achieve the same effect is to not straighten lead arm so much as this leads to a wide path into impact as you move from lead arm parallel to shaft parallel in the downswing. You do want to un cock the lead lead wrist during this interval but not the right arm flex so much that it straightens entirely leading to a wide swing path. Lead arm will straighten but not fully- some say from a 90 degree flex to a 120 degree flex.
