THIS WILL TRANFORM EVERY HIGH HANDICAP GOLFER’S GAME! When playing golf it’s so important to do the little things right. In this video I guide Foxy a high handicap golfer through a hole of golf how he should be playing it. If you guys do these things right it could transform your game, shoot lower scores and just play way better golf. Let’s do it. And let’s do it now!

  1. Why is it that our practice swing are pretty “fluent”/“fluid”, but when we do the step forward to shoot the ball, the swing isn’t anymore?

  2. Love the video. Foxy seems to be really athletic but he isn’t transferring any of his athleticism into his golf game.

  3. A friend of mine played cricket at a very good level,he has the same take away as foxy where his right arm bends/ collapse's in the take away. Like foxy thats the first thing he need to sort,I'm sure I heard foxy thinking of shaping the ball off the tee on one hole in my opinion he is a few years away from shaping shots off the tee he just needs to concentrate on sorting his swing out first as like my mate he's all over 👍

  4. Great idea for a video. Seeing how the inner cogs of Foxys mind works out on course, shows how much he's come along with his game! Might not get it right every time but atleast he understands why and where he went wrong.
James, do you think club members could have a quick whip round and buy Foxy some shoe polish! ☺

  5. Do you not think Foxy is over rotating with his arms in the backswing and removing any space he could use to let the club fall behind him in the downswing?
He’s got reasonable rotation, but if he created more width and space he’d have a better chance of controlling the path.
I’ve gone on a similar journey to Foxy over the last year, and gone from 26 to 16.

  6. Love the videos guys , I think you have Foxy on the right path , new clubs , getting out of those regular flex shafts , he's thinking better around the holes , that right elbow collapsing ( sliding )behind him needs to be addressed thou that would move him from 25 down to 15 in no time and could go from 15 down to 10 just by turning the hat around !!!! Keep it up boys !!!

  7. An old golfer once told me "don't play to your handicap when you're cold. play to your ability." Is that true James?

  8. Did Foxy get his new irons delivered from Mizuno, and use them during this video, or are you the only one that got your's yet?

  9. Course management has been such a great lesson. Instead of clubbing high trying to get on the green in 2 I know I won’t make it so I just hit what I’m comfortable with and that will leave me the distance I like

  10. Lots of comments regarding watching mid to high handicappers progress and I agree. So shameless plug… I’ve been documenting my journey to play better golf (hopefully). Considering checking it out! Cheers!

  11. I don’t think having a caddy would actually help a high handicap all that much. The issue, generally, isn’t course management or getting the right number. The issue lies in the inconsistency of the swing and lack of feel for different shot shapes. Most people, high or low handicap, know how to manage a course. We all know that there’s a hazard on the right so we should miss left and if we’re in the trees, a punch out to the side is a safer play than the high shot to the green. People just don’t care enough to follow those tactics or don’t have the awareness to make sure they can miss a certain way. The difference between a high and low handicap isn’t something a caddy can help with 😂

  12. #1 thing Foxy needs to do to transform his game is to un-pin his left arm from his chest and free up that backswing.

  13. James my dad always said if you're gonna miss it, miss it straight, unless there's water in front of you because then you'll have problems

  14. Hey that’s how I play most of the time can relate to this video big time!!!All the very best 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

  15. I get the point of the video. Good stuff. But someone needs to fix Foxy's backswing. That would go a loooong way to being more consistent.
