A common truth among golfers is that it’s not the putter that makes putts, it’s the person stroking the putt. Yet golfers continually search for the latest putter design that will somehow cure their putting issues. There are no magic putters. This video is evidence that putting technique has more influence over whether a golfer will be successful in making putts, rather than simply having the latest in putter technology .

10 vintage no tech putters are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of DynAlign Golf’s dynamic pre-shot alignment technique in controlling clubface angle and alignment from address through impact.

The DynAlign technique reduces range of motion in joints during a brief pre-shot routine to create a stable path with stable clubface alignment from address to impact. There is minimal opening or closing of the clubface during the stroke as a result of the reduction in range of motion in the wrist, elbow, and shoulder joints. A golfer is more likely to make more putts with a stroke that stays on a stable path with a stable clubface from address through impact, especially in pressure situations.

An archer does not take final aim of an arrow until tension is applied to the bow and the joints supporting the bow have been stabilized. Golfers who aim their putter as the first step in a pre-shot routine are like an archer taking final aim of an arrow before a bow is stretched and energized. That is not a common practice in archery and it should not be in golf either.

Putting without reducing the range of motion in the joints is also like driving a car with a loose steering mechanism. A driver is required to make constant adjustments in steering.
