23:06. The percentages on that Ko Pin Yi's shot on rack 17 shooting the 3 ball is so low. Thining the 3 ball has a bigger percentage of risking scratching the cueball, while hitting rail-first the shot might have a good percentage. Ko Pin Yi should jump the cueball rail-first then shooting the 3 ball because of risking scratching the cue ball. He might thought it was risk-worth but it's not definitely. Painful though, but that is a competitive pool game. It's World Championship title.

In the 1st 5 min , I seen 4 easy shots that were missed, 2 terrible safes, 2 almost misses on easy shots, a almost scratch with a wide open table and no run outs

Why no philippine players in that tournament?
At some point, you have to factor in the age of former world champions going against more stable and steady younger cueists. Long distance shots can be very challenging; hence, the importance of cue ball placing for the next shot. Really evident with Thorsten’s 9-ball misses.
