Watch every shot from Tiger Woods’ third round. #theMasters

Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

  1. It appeared that the greens were way slower than Tiger expected. Every first putt except on the 18th was short, some of them a long way short. I thought with his injury that his putting might be what saves him, but no.

  2. He said it would get a lot harder and it did. It’s a miracle he made the cut. For all his flaws he’s giving it his all and it shows. Bravo.

  3. He is far from ready… yes he made the cut but at what cost? Hopefully his ego does not cause a serious physical setback. He is already on borrowed time as it is on the course.

  4. As a 19 handicap I`ll be happy if I shoot 120 around this course.. Those greens are tough !!! Respect to Tiger for hanging in there

  5. That was painful to watch… This is the 60 something yr old Tiger I envisioned, 78 is a struggle for the 99% of golfers on their home course…. 78 on Saturday at The Masters… Easy right?

  6. Ánimo y fuerza Tiger, todo vuelve a su sitio y el tuyo te esta esperando

  7. Some of the fanboy comments on here are disturbing. Yes, Tiger's determination and ability are never in question. His humanity/humility away from golf is a disgrace though. Never once has he apologised for his atrocious behaviour. He could easily have killed innocent bystanders in that crash.
He won't admit to being flawed.

  8. I don't see any sign that the injuries are causing the mistakes. He's simply rusty from not competing. He'll be just fine before July……I give him that 83rd win this year.

  9. Nice to see his sense of humor coming out after a difficult day and taking an extra question apparently out of respect to one of the reporters. Shows a lot of growth as a person. He also commented yesterday about a team of people getting him into condition to be able to compete…. again, significant maturity and some humility. I am amazed that he has been able to return to the tour and more amazed that he made the cut in a major….. after physicians said he would never play competitive golf again. Echoes of the Ben Hogan comeback. Would love to see Tiger win another major.

  10. The reporting of the Masters has become depressingly boring: Tiger, Tiger, Tiger. Obviously the the commentators try to keep their jobs by talking about virtually nobody but Tiger.

  11. Tough day on the greens, was a bit off with his iron play, but didn't really strike the ball too badly. But great to see him back, expect to only see him a handful more times this year, but looks like he can still compete.
