Naivasha golf Club’s Samson Gitau carded a round of 38 points to win the club’s Chairman’s Prize Tournament presented by Konza Technopolis. Playing off handicap 11, Gitau posted 19 points in both the first and back nine, one point ahead of his nearest challenger Antony Ngigi and Kevin Kiongo who came in second and third respectively.Tabitha Kiragu, playing off handicap 18, carded 37 points to claim the ladies prize ahead of Medrine Kariuki and Esther Njau who completed the top three positions. The tournament was open to all men and lady members of the home club and other nearby clubs such as Nakuru, Nyahururu, Kiambu and Njoro. Over 80 golfers took part in the tournament.
