Everyone's body mechanics are different. What works for one might not work for the next guy. That's why there are soooo many swing coaches and methods. Do what works for you.

Your not going inside that bad. Remember, young man, the most important thing to do is control the club face with your hands. We play this game with our hands. If your swing isn't radically off then pay attention to your hands. If you are confidant, then your hands will be relaxed and you will do just fine.

I'm looking forward to the gems series. And, the courses have opened in North Dakota. My first round was a 37 on a par 35, 9 hole course. That's not bad for a 72 year old, is it?
Do what works for you. Lessons are good but you gotta be comfortable.
Well done as always Liam. As I've aged I've found that opening my stance a bit and implementing a 3/4 swing works best for most shots. The 20 somethings may out drive me but as us wiser golfers know, its not all about distance. They seem perplexed when well placed shots ultimately beat long shots 😆. I guess wisdom can still outperform youth every now and again.

I had a really good lesson recently where he wasn’t trying to change loads. Just advised I need try hitting up more on driver which is correct as I’m hitting down and I’m hitting left because of strong grip. I’m hitting the ball the best I ever have just by having a simple thought of having a smooth backswing and accelerating through the hitting zone confident of a good 2022 season! Great content as always Liam.
