  1. The flatness of ping woods only helps if your tall enough to have it flush to the group. Otherwise you would have to cut the shaft down about 2 inch’s. Flat woods don’t work for short ppl in my opinion.

  2. Hi Rick. Love your bids. I played a very old set of Stan Leonard blades for 30 years and promised myself I'd but modern clubs once the kids were grown up and I had more time to golf. I ended up with Taylormade's Burner 2.0 irons and R9 woods. What are your thoughts on these models?

    Sincerely from Canada,
    Jim

  3. taylormade spider putter w/ superstroke weighted grip- seems to be a great balanced -took at least 4-5 strokes off my game

  4. The G425 @48.5" shaft was louder then my G10 @48" and only gave me 3 yards more. I also found the G10 was closer to center, longer on mishits and I didn't notice the G425 any more forgiving then my G10. I didn't upgrade….

  5. Im still rocking the original M2, i cant part with it. Nearly got the sim but my numbers didnt get any better.

  6. Cobra F9 is a beast. Ive never hit a driver that separated launch and spin as well as that club. It just puts the ball in a different window from any other driver I've used. Cobra F8 3 wood with the Baffler rails is a personal favorite too. Ping hybrid with the flat setting.

  7. I have an m4 19* hybrid that looks like it’s been put through a wood chipper but it’s not leaving the bag until it breaks

  8. hey bud i cant even come close to disagreeing with you, maybe not ooff the turf but still good ,but my 3 wood425 iis a bomb and its rather quiet compared to that driver but that thing flies

  9. I played small ball most of last yr trying to break 80 so I got rid of my M2 thinking I didn't need it anymore never got lower than 80 always a stroke or two away. You can only go so low without driver eventually you need that extra distance. Now I want it back so bad but finding a good deal on one in good condition isn't easy. And drivers really should be purchased new imo who knows how many times some idiot smashed it in anger after bad shots.

  10. Hate my titleist TS2 3 wood worst purchase ever anyone wanna buy it? It's a great club but unfortunately it's a sucky piece of crap lol you'll love it

  11. Absolutely am a fan of P790s. Hired some at a driving range and thought that these are the clubs I would be happy to play with for the rest of my life.

  12. all in all not every club fits every player, unlike back in the 70's and what were your choices this forged blade or that one or the Persimmon driver you have had in your bag consider yourself very lucky you have all the choices that you have things really changed in 2000 by a huge amount

  13. These more than 10yrs but I’d say: Adams titelie, calla big Bertha drivers, TM 300 series drivers, TM original utility, OD 2 ball, Cleve wedges, tM rocket balz 3wd, but so many, some of my faves

  14. I have just started using the G425 LST and it is incredible. I had issues with slice and I am now hitting 90% of my drives very straight. The 3 wood is just awesome an so easy to hit clean and straight and I have yet to get the 5 wood. I also love the G425 irons as well.

  15. Yes! The 2016 M2 Driver is the best club from the past 10 years. I still have one (although I game a SIM 2 nowadays). I put it back in the bag every now and then.

  16. I love the Ping G425 Max clubs. I have a Driver down to a 9-Wood. Very forgiving, straight, best that I've ever used. I also have the Itsy-Bitsy putter and haven't wanted to change it ever!!
