– Welcome to pro golf tips with Craig Barlow at Reflection Bay. Here are some at home golf drills and tips on what you can do while you’re at home.
While I’m giving a golf lesson, one of the common faults that I see in golfers is they always struggle with their alignment and their path. And this is a very simple drill that you can do at home that’s very productive for when we’re on the golf course.
So I have a couple of alignment sticks. I’ve created a rail scenario. The rail is for path, but it’s also for alignment. So when I go ahead and get into the rails, I’m making sure that my lines– and my lines are feet, knees, hips, shoulders–all of my lines have to be square to this bottom alignment stick.
I’m going to make sure all my lines are square. I’ve pointed the alignment toward our target and from here, now I just got to keep the putter in the rails.
