In other sports – like a high jump – athletes push down and jump up for power. In the golf swing, that same motion of going from somewhat bent legs to extending of the legs and pushing the hips up and forward can create power. In this video I’ll take you through when and where you can harness this movement in the golf swing and give you two drills for training the motion.
