You will see in this video that I employ and typically encourage a slightly stronger grip, especially in the (lead) left hand. I believe this positions the left wrist in its most optimal position for movement and strike, while also reducing the risk of injury. The grip is our only connection to the golf club and for that reason a key foundation on my online academy, and in my coaching. A sound grip can quickly remedy a wicked slice or vice versa a duck hook. While there are countless ways to grip the club (as outlined in this video), this is my preferred method.
