It’s been 1 year since I’ve come out and I truly can’t imagine what life would be like if I never did. In honor of it and pride month coming to an end, I wanted to share with you all my coming out story. I know this is not the same energy the usual Tish brings out, but it is definitely the most real, raw, and open Tish you’ll maybe ever see. I hope that this story helps put things in a different perspective and/or touches at least ONE of you!
This past year, I’ve laughed and smiled bigger than I ever have before! 6/27/19 will forever be a milestone not only because it’s been such a rollercoaster to get here, but also because for the first time I chose myself. I chose my MY happiness. Which is all I hope for each and every one of you.
If you are a part of the lgbtq+ community or feel like you may be, message me and share with me your story! I’d love to hear and learn more! If you are questioning yourself on whether or not you should come out, know that there is a community ready to welcome you with open arms! And if you are someone who is currently going through something similar to what I have gone through, I hope that my story has shown you that there IS light at the end of the tunnel.
