Hello! I finally got around to digitizing my late 1990’s Disc Golf footage from VHS tapes. Here is my first attempt at putting something like this together, some footage from the 1999 In-Flight Open at Grand Woods Park (Lansing, MI).
Here you will find mostly footage of Juliana Korver. I also believe Sue Stephens is on her card (she’s the lefty). At one point there was a long backup, and it gave me the opportunity to film a nearby MPO card featuring Darren Harper, Larry LaBond and Doug Chilcote.
These are the names I remember specifically. If you know the names of any of the other players on here, feel free to drop me a line and I’ll edit this to give them credit.
In true amateur home video fashion, I believe my battery died at the end there.
Since I only had a handful of minutes of this tournament, I chose this one to be my first editing project. Stay tuned for bigger ones forthcoming! I have footage of Ken Climo, Scott Stokely, both Bamba and Steve Rico, Mike Moser, Ron Russell, and Shawn Sinclair in a couple of DGLO videos.
