A shot-by-shot hickory golf course vlog featuring Connecticut hickory golfer Christian Williams playing hickory golf at the iconic nine-hole Eagle Springs Golf Resort in Eagle, WI.

Eagle Springs Golf Resort opened in 1893 and is the oldest golf course in Wisconsin. Originally an 18-hole golf course with a grand hotel and 12 cottages, the family-owned resort was reduced to its current 9-hole layout after the Great Depression. While baseball hall-of-famer and sporting-goods magnate A.G. Spalding is credited with the course’s quirky design including its iconic volcano par 3 second, some believe its actually the work of prolific Scottish architect Tom Bendelow, who worked as a course designer for Spalding. The course is now owned and operated by a sixth generation of the family that traces its roots to the original owners, Irish immigrants John and Mary Tuohy.
