I just got in my OEM MK7.5 Golf R power folding mirrors with DAP and puddle lights along with aspherical mirrors and the new power folding mirror switch. Before I put these onto the car I wanted to swap out the OEM turn signals with something a little different to give my car a more minimalist look and some uniqueness.
Using the OEM harness I found the pins that light just the turn signal so I could compare on my bench before installing. One of the specific reasons I choose this set of turn signals is that I knew the mirror housings had a puddle light to trigger the blue effect. If you don’t have a puddle light these won’t be useful for you as the blue will never trigger properly unless you run a custom wire to your door controller where the puddle light wire would be connected.
I’ve added another video that has the pins for testing the turn signal and folding motors before installing the mirrors.
