In this video I ended up getting contacted by a man named Bijan, who lost his homemade drone, with a GoPro 8 attached to it, in The American River while trying to catch some cool shots with his friends! Unfortunately, a little over half of my dive wasn’t caught on camera because of a stupid mistake I made, which funny enough was caught on camera. However, I still captured a little bit of the underwater search as well as when I’m able to reunite Bijan with his drone that he thought he never see again!! As bummed as I was that I messed up the shot of when I found it, I’m just happy that I was still able to get him back his valuables because truly that’s the most important part to me! He said at one point something along the lines of: “I mean, it’s nobody’s wedding ring or anything, but it’s important to me. Thank you” and I can’t think of a better way to explain why I always try to help people regardless of what it is they lost or how much it cost.
