Spring smallmouth bass fishing is great! It’s also a bit unpredictable. In this episode join me and some new fishing buds as we catch big smallies, get challenged by unpredictable winds, and get a few pike too. The Milwaukee river is a beautiful fishery when you get beyond the bridges and I love to spend hours on it. Even if I don’t always get an epic fish day. What I love is learning the Milwaukee River. Catching Smallmouth. And when I can hook into a nice fat, pre spawn female smallmouth it’s a great day even if at the end of that day, I get smashed by the wind coming up river.
