Golf is often mischaracterized as a game that only requires good flexibility. But, in truth, to swing the club with speed and power, to get the distance you deserve with each club, golf requires strength and power. First, we build a baseline of strength. Then , we add speed and power drills, like those I demonstrate here. Med ball throws and kettlebell swings are great entry level power drills to enhance your swing speed, train the body in power and improve your scoring ability.
