The value of a good playing lesson simply cannot be overstated. This past week we had the opportunity to tee it up at the historic Sleepy Hollow Country Club with 2018 Met PGA Teacher of the Year Kevin Sprecher for a truly memorable coaching experience.
As Kevin explains in the video, the goal of a playing lesson is for the coach to take the game you currently have and maximize your efficient by reaching you to manage your way around the course. A good coach will teach you how to analyze risk versus return to improve your ability to post good scores…and avoid making the big mistakes that lead to terrible rounds.
