Phil Mickelson wasn’t in action on the PGA Tour last week, but Lefty remained prevalent on social media, this time for paying off a group of golfers who were enjoying a round at San Diego’s Maderas Golf Club.

Per Instagram user, Victor Alfredo Lopez, his friends and himself had to skip the seventh hole of their round due to Mickelson filming a commercial on the hole.
As you would expect, Lefty was generous in his compensation for cutting their round short, handing over a crisp $100 note.
The commercial was for Amstel, who subsequently reached out to Lopez on Instagram, saying: “Sorry to interrupt your round! Shoot us your mailing address in a DM if you have a chance..”
$100 to skip one hole of your weekend round, meet Phil Mickelson, and probably score some Amstel goodies? I think there’d be quite a few takers!
