The Hanger Drill: For Consistently Pure Ball Striking…
All you need is a plastic Hanger and a 7 or 8 Iron and you will be compressing the ball like a pro in no time Flat.
Place the hanger under your trail armpit, but do NOT keep your trail elbow connected to your body. Be sure to make the bottom of the hanger as level to the ground as possible when you are in your golf stance.
Take the club back and hinge your wrist until you feel the hanger touch your lead arm and then lead the downswing by shifting and rotating your belt buckle towards the target.
Keep the lead arm touching the hanger until you are halfway back down (meaning lead arm parallel to ground) and then allow the club to release to and through impact.
Pure Ball Striking is just a plastic hanger away!!
